7 Shots, 9 mm (P.A. – Item #6054) – Blank Cartridges ONLY

FUNCTIONING:
This 7 shot launcher has a semi-automatic trigger cocking, clip advancing mechanism. PULLING THE TRIGGER (dry firing) WHEN THE CLIP IS EMPTY, could permanently damage launcher.

LOADING: Only 9mm P.A. Blanks (Item #6054) are required for this launcher.
Rotate safety lever downward to cover the red dot, press the magazine release button and remove magazine. Fill magazine with blank cartridges by pushing down the feeder platform (or the round already in the magazine) and carefully push the new round under the magazine lips (do not force blank into magazine as it may damage or bend the magazine lips). The launcher takes 7 blank cartridges. With the safety still “On”, insert magazine clip into launcher. Now the launcher is preloaded. Grip launcher with your firing hand and pull the slide completely back with free hand to the ribbed end and release slide. While the safety remains “On” the hammer cannot be cocked. Turn safety lever “Off” cock the hammer by pulling it fully back with thumb (double action). DO NOT TOUCH TRIGGER WHILE COCKING HAMMER; ANY SLIGHT PRESSURE COULD CAUSE THE BLANK TO FIRE. The hammer is now cocked, and launcher is ready to fire. Remaining blanks will automatically cock the hammer. After all blanks have been fired, it will be necessary to change or fill magazine (spare magazines are available). If the hammer remains cocked stop firing, remove magazine, engage safety, pull slide back and release it, this releases hammer.

FIRING: Dry Firing (with no blanks in the chamber) will permanently damage Launcher.
Screw muzzle cup into launcher and insert 15mm pyrotechnical cartridge into the end of the muzzle as per instructions on pyrotechnic cartridge packaging, ie. BLACK or HOLLOW end in first. Move the safety lever to the "F" (FIRE) position. You are now ready to fire a 15mm pyrotechnical cartridge. Always fire at 45 degree angle from the ground. When all ten blanks are fired, it will be necessary to reload the clip.

CLEANING:
After each use launcher must be cleaned thoroughly. For that purpose, launcher must be dismantled into its three main components. To dismantle launcher for cleaning does not require any tools. Rotate safety lever downward to the red dot and remove magazine. Make sure the chamber is empty. Pull trigger guard downward, push it sideways with the index finger, and allow it to rest on the underside of the frame. Hold the trigger guard in this position with the index finger. Pull the slide fully back, then lift it off and allow slide to glide forward. Never allow the hammer to drop freely forward while launcher is party dismantled. Let hot water-jet flow through the chamber and the barrel. Clean chamber with enclosed bristle brush and barrel with any appropriate auxiliary material. Several drops of oil will keep launcher operating smoothly - wipe excess oil from launcher and reassemble. To reassemble, removing the recuperator spring - take care that afterwards its smaller end must be pushed first onto the barrel. Cock the hammer; pull the trigger guard down again. Allow it to rest on the underside of the frame and hold it in this position with the index finger. With the safety catch still “On”, replace the slide on the barrel at an oblique angle, pull it fully back and push it down flat on the frame. Then allow to slide forward. Pull the trigger guard down slightly and allow it to return to its normal position. Insert magazine.
