This is a safe foot snare that is designed for catching animals
for biological study and zoo specimens. Also useful for unmarred fur-taking
and problem wildlife control.
• The spring mechanism is made of oil-tempered spring
steel, wound and retempered to provide fast action.
• The throw cable for cougar and black bear is 3/16” galvanized
wire rope with a 42” working loop. The grizzly and polar bear
throw cable is ¼” galvanized wire rope in a 52” working
loop. Both are available in custom lengths. See diagram below for recommended
throw cable assembly.
• All anchor cables are ¼” galvanized wire rope complete
with ¼” swivel and choker end for simple, secure tie-up
and. Crimped aluminum sleeves are used for anchor cable fastenings.
• Throw and anchor cables are connected by the ¼”
galvanized swivel.
• Springs, anchor/throw cables (custom cut, ends fused), clamps,
swivels, and locking slides are available as separate items.
