INSTALLATION

The bird scare cannons come complete with a battery cable. In order to attach the battery/solar boxes the battery cable on the scare cannon must be removed. This will require a Philips screwdriver and a #10 wrench to remove the battery cable clamp. Once the clamp is removed the cable can be unscrewed and removed. Now, attach the battery/solar box cable to the bird scare cannon. Once this cable is attached the battery cable clamp can be re-installed. Now that the battery/solar box is attached to the scare cannon, the battery can be placed in the solar box, the red lead connects to the red battery terminal and the black lead connects to the black battery terminal. The lid with solar panel can now be placed on the battery box, be sure to face the solar panel towards the sun and to keep the solar panel clean.
