Electrified Texas Gate

This structure is a 16' x 8' HEAVY DUTY cattle guard complete with:

  • rectangular tubing (8.5" x 2") mud sills
  • main support pipe is 10.75" O.D., with 3/16" wall thickness
  • cross members are 5.5" O.D. with .304 wall thickness
  • heavy duty gussets built to prevent any possibility of pipe slippage
  • runners (pipe bed) are 3.5" with .156 wall
  • electrification is an in house design, resistance tested to less than 7 ohms
