7/8" CORNER/END BRACE ASSEMBLY
To maximize wire tension, this 7/8" diameter fibreglass post brace assembly comes complete with 72" upright and 60" diagonal posts and all necessary hardware. This brace system enables the wire to be installed guitar string tight so that it easily separates the hair and delivers the electric shock to the bear's hide.

GALVANIZED STRANDED WIRE
This product has a breaking strength of 1000+ lbs. This is an important feature because a deterred, retreating bear must not be able to break the wire. This galvanized wire is rust resistant and will continue to be an excellent conductor of electricity for years even in permanent applications.

GROUNDING PRODUCTS
Proper grounding is essential for an effective fence. Ground rods are the most common way to ground an electric fence. Choose from a standard 3/4" diameter or a "quick" 1/2" diameter ground rod. The 1/2" quick ground rod has a built-in pounder. Ground plates are often used where terrain makes it difficult or impossible to drive in a ground rod. For better grounding extra ground rods and/or plates may be added.

BEAR ELECTRIC FENCE ALERT ALARM SYSTEM
Maximize the effectiveness your existing electric fence. The alarm system is activated when the bear touches the hot wire. The bear receives a shock which causes a short on the fence wire, simultaneously tripping the siren. The audio stimulation frightens the bear and, more importantly, alerts camp personnel of the bear’s presence. This system comes complete with alarm control box, siren, and 12-volt dry cell battery (battery will provide 50hrs of continuous siren operation). It can be rigged with any alarm device (ie. lights, security monitors, etc.) that is triggered by a switch closure. Also ideal for monitoring the perimeter of game (deer/elk) fencing.
