2. Use corn as bait. Distribute around and inside of the trap. Place a pan of water inside of the trap.

3. Initially, keep all of the doors open using wire, so that the pigeons may come and go.

4. After several days, remove the wire, close the doors and begin trapping. Trap for a couple of weeks and then rest the trap by opening the doors again so that the pigeons will not become trap-shy.

5. Use cable ties to attach lid to holding compartment, lid fit may not be perfect, however if perches are installed carefully, (to keep compartment square), it will fit comfortably over the four mesh walls. (The less than perfect fit is due to the lightweight, collapsible and portable construction of the trap, enabling the user to transport up ladders, etc. to set on rooftops).
