How do your scare products work?

All of our products create effects that take advantage of the natural fear/startle response in the target wildlife. By creating a stronger deterrent than the attractant, you can keep wildlife out of your control area.

Are Margo products safe to use?

Yes, all Margo products are designed with safety considerations foremost. Always follow the provided safety instructions and follow local regulations.

Where is your office?

We have offices in Canada, the Unites States, and Germany.  Check our contact page to see exactly where each office is.

Why are some of your scare products so loud?

Our products are designed to scare wildlife, often that means using effects that bother humans as well. Although our products are designed to frighten wildlife, these devices cause no lasting harm.

Do animals get used to your products?

If you keep exposing an animal to the same scare effect eventually the animal can learn that the product doesn’t pose them any harm. There is no one single magic button product that will solve all wildlife problems. Using a variety of scare effects prevents habitation. Move stationary deterrents frequently and try to ensure your scare program has a visual, audio, and active deterrent. To learn more about how to prevent habituation read our guide XXX.

Your products look interesting; can I buy them for non-wildlife management purposes?

We provide professional tools for use only as wildlife management. It may even be an offence in some jurisdictions to use our products for any other purpose. It is up to you to ensure you are using our products in accordance with all laws.

Will you guarantee that the geese in my yard leave for good?

That’s a guarantee that nobody can make. We’ve provided professional products for 38 years and many of our customers keep coming back year after year. However, each situation is unique and wildlife can sometimes be very persistent. Please give us a call so we can recommend a custom program for your needs.

I have a bat in my attic, can you remove it for me?

Unfortunately not, we primarily supply wildlife management tools. Contact a local pest control company for assistance.

I don’t live near your office; can I still buy from you?

Yes! That’s why we created this online store. Shipping is fast, affordable, and you get our products delivered right to your doorstep.

What’s your privacy policy?

Can anyone buy your products?

Yes, almost all of our products are for sale to the public for wildlife control purposes. Some of our pyrotechnics or ammunition may require firearms or other licences in some jurisdictions. Any required licences are listed on the individual product.

Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?

Yes, we don’t see or store any of your credit card information. We use the most secure payment processors in the business and our site is externally audited for security. If you’re uncomfortable paying online no problem, we can take orders by phone or email.

My country is not listed on your website, can I still buy from you?

Typically yes. We can ship to most countries in the world. However, some of our products may have shipping or import restrictions. Please email us to inquire about an export order.

Can you ship my order to a freight forwarder?

Unfortunately online fraud is common these days, so our company chooses not to ship to freight forwarders as a precaution.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Our website will give you a full list of shipping options and their estimated arrival times. We ship within 1 business day of receiving your order. Very rarely, we may take 2 days during seasonal rushes or for large orders.

Animals are destroying my crop, I need pyrotechnics tomorrow.

We ship products very fast but do be aware that DG/HazMat items can only be shipped by courier ground service. These items cannot be sent by express, air, or postal services.

My order hasn’t arrived. Where is it?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking link. Double check your email and voicemail to see if we’ve contacted you about your order – due to the nature of the products we sell, sometimes we need a bit more information from you before shipping your order.
